The times in which we all have recently come to function are not the easiest, or even more predictable. The western part of the village is located on a majestic over 20-meter cliff, from where there is a charming view of the waters of the Baltic Sea and breakwaters. On the other hand, from the south we will find ourselves on the Liwia Łuża Lake and the Nature Reserve around which there is an almost 10 km long walking and cycling trail.
The real heyday of Niechorze dates back to the beginning of the 20th century and the connection of the town with the Seaside Narrow-Gauge Railway. A train ride on the route Gryfice – Niechorze is one of the greatest attractions of the area. Restored wagons and railway stations from over 120 years ago are a unique journey through time along the historical monuments and natural attractions of this region.
The main monument and hallmark of Niechorze is the complex of buildings of the Lighthouse – one of the largest facilities of this type in Europe. The entire complex was built in the years 1863 – 1866 and consists of a lighthouse, lighthouse keepers’ houses, a garden and outbuildings.
